Any guesses?

Samuel John's birthday is tomorrow!

I've been wondering all morning how big he's going to be.

Mara Lin was 6 lbs, 2 oz. at two weeks over due.
Emily Elizabeth was 6 lbs, 10 oz. at one week early.
And Becca Sue was my gigantor at 8 lbs, 1 oz. at one week early.

SO Sam will also be one week early. How big do you think he'll be?

I don't feel like my tummy is any bigger than it was with the others, but I didn't think my tummy was bigger with Becca Sue either.

My guess is 7 lbs, 13 oz.
What's your guess?

Neglect

I'm so glad that blogs don't run away or throw fits or even die when you neglect them. They just sit here patiently waiting on some attention.

I promise to be back soon with some pictures to share, a couple of serious posts, maybe a new header if I can sweet talk my hubby, and I'll try not to complain too much about being so hugely pregnant with no a/c in the house (oops, I think I just complained!).

Where's that energy boost?

This is what I seem to be best at lately....
There's usually an energy boost that happens in the second trimester, but right now at 26 weeks pregnant, I'm still waiting for it. Seeing as how the third trimester starts tomorrow,I guess I should stop waiting. Hmmm, maybe I slept through the energy boost?!

Nope, still 'Not Me'!

Here's another list of things that I have NOT done in the last week.....

-I most certainly did NOT eat Girl Scout Cookies for breakfast this morning.

-And I did NOT hide in the laundry room to eat previously mentioned cookies so I wouldn't have to share with three little crazy ladies.

-Since I can not longer breathe while bending over to pick something up from the floor, I am NOT excited at all that my husband must now do the clean up under the table after meals.

-Oh, and it's totally Samuel's fault that I can't breathe while bending over and NOT the Girl Scout Cookies that I did NOT eat for breakfast!

Don't forget to head over to MckMama's blog to read what everyone else has NOT been doing this week.

Oh boy, Oh boy!

We're having a boy!

I am still shocked (I just knew it was another girl!) but way excited.

Now only about four more months to wait on the arrival of Samuel John.

Oh, and I really need to go shopping....I don't think Sam's daddy will let him wear pink and that's all I've got!

Yep, tomorrow is the big day.....20 week ultrasound! The girls are so excited about the 'magic camera' being able to see the baby in Mommy's tummy.

Two babies?

I was finishing getting dressed this morning and heard....

Emily: Mommy, do you have two babies?
Me: No, there's just one baby in my tummy.

Emily: Ya, but it looks like there's one baby in your tummy and one baby in your booty.

So I have whiskers, stinky breath, smell like a worm, and now I have a big booty. It's a good thing I don't have any feelings though cause they might have gotten hurt!

I'm Still Kicking

...from the inside and outside.

Well, I'm kicking on the outside while a little peanut whose making me puke is kicking from the inside.

I've don't have a clue why I can't seem to get back into blogging so I'll just blame it on baby #4.

"If I Could Turn Back Time"...

...sang in my best Cher voice!

The good news: I have two more weeks to knit something for the new baby.

The bad news: I have to be pregnant for two more weeks.

So I never blogged about the craziness of first finding out we were pregnant again... I was almost a week late for my cycle but a home pregnancy test (ok, tests) were negative. It was our third month on Clomid so I had an appointment with my ob/gyn to discuss further options on trying to get pregnant. But since my cycle still hadn't started, he drew blood. It came back that I was pregnant but my levels were really low...low enough to not show up on a home test. So we really didn't know what was going on and made an appointment for five days later to see if the hcg levels were going up or down. Whew, that was a long five days! The levels went way up on this test so everything was ok and we scheduled an ultrasound for two weeks later.

The ultrasound appointment was this morning. The doctor couldn't see what he wanted to see in his office so he scheduled me to go downstairs to the hospital's ultrasound department. So, I went to that appointment a couple of hours later and sat there for an hour and a half (with a full bladder). Then of course the ultrasound tech wouldn't tell me anything or even let me see the screen during the test.

The doctor called just like 30 minutes later though to say that the baby looked great and had a heart rate of 140 bpm, but only measured 6wks 4days instead of 8wks 4days. So something kooky happened with my cycle even though I did Clomid and my due date is exactly two weeks later than I thought.

So all of that to say that I need to tell Cher that I've figured out how to turn back time. That little baby in the sidebar was actually starting to look human, but now is back to looking even more alien monstery then when I last blogged about it!

Whew, a day of being a worry wort has left me exhausted. God is really teaching me that He is in control. Wonder when I'll learn it so He can stop teaching it to me?

Alien Monster Baby

Check out that little baby in that widget there in my side-bar. Wow, it's hard to believe that it will grow to an adorable, chunky, screaming, pooping baby in 234 more days! Check out the tail....looks like an alien monster baby to me!

Note to self:

Puking up just coffee is a lot worse than puking up coffee and breakfast.

Hmmm, I know that your life has been enriched by knowing that!
