Greatmom

This is Greatmom holding Mara Lin four and a half years ago. She loved to sing hymns to her.
Here she is again holding Emily Elizabeth right at 3 years ago. I can guarantee that she was either singing or humming hymns to her when this picture was taken.
And here she is serenading Becca Sue almost two years ago, and less than a year before she passed away.

Even when she couldn't remember the babies' names or what day it was there towards the end, she never forgot one word of those old hymns.

I can just see Greatmom holding my baby right now in heaven...and I can hear 'Blessed Assurance' or 'Great is Thy Faithfulness'.

Give my baby a kiss for me Greatmom.

Carrie

Absolutely one of the sweetest posts I have ever read.

After my dad passed away, I would sometimes ask God to tell him 'hi, that I love him and miss him.'

Just think of those heroes Paul talks about cheering us on right now -- Greatmom and baby included.

oh Carrie, I just cried! That was the sweetest thought ever! How Great is our God that he allows us to know him, in this life and in the next! What a great homecoming it will be one day! Blessings to you, my friend!

Oh...Carrie...this brought tears to my eyes...I have often asked God to "tell my mom hi"...tonight I asked Him to direct her to your precious baby so that she could love on him or her for a bit :) Love you and praying for you...
