Better late than never.

I just realized that I never blogged about our Valentine's craft. Well, like the title says...better late than never.

I took all of our broken crayons and cut them up in little pieces. Then the girls put the pieces in a silicon chocolate mold. Three minutes in the oven and about twenty minutes to cool....and voila, heart-shaped crayons!

Love this!

Addi got one of these last year from a little girl in her preschool class with a note attached saying, "Valentine, you color my world!"

I meant to copy that idea this year, but forgot. Guess there's always next year :)
