Coming Clean!

I've never been a name brand person. Wal-mart and Target have always been my friends and I'll always opt for a store brand of most anything. Just call me cheap...I won't be offended!

The thing is, I don't want to admit it, but I'm becoming a name brand snob!

It all started with these....I love flip flops and have a dozen pair...each under $10. My sister-in-law had some of these Teva Mush flip flops and I tried them on one weekend. My feet breathed a sigh of relief and had never been in a more comfortable pair of flip flops. So I shelled out $22 and have worn them every day for the last three months.

Then I went shopping for a good umbrella stroller. I pushed every stroller at Babies R Us and fell in love with this...Again, I shelled the money out for this Maclaren stroller and then found a double one on craigslist and bought it too. I did sell all six of my other strollers at a consignment sale though and made all the $$ plus some back.

So now it's Hanna Andersson. I love these day dresses with the leggings underneath.Of course I'm ebaying to get a good deal on them though, so you can still call me cheap!

I also have a single and double Maclaren and would never consider another brand stroller now and my girls both sport Hanna Anderson dresses...I got several off ebay too:) Haven't tried the flip-flops, but I might have to take your advice!

We have a lot in common--my WFMW had the same two brands!

Glad to find your blog. The header photo with its white smocked glory is one of the prettiest I've seen around.

I used to wear dresses and skirts with leggings in the late 80's, early 90's as a kid! Guess they are back in style. My WFMW is up.

Those flipflops may lend some legitimacy to my Mom wardrobe! Thanks for the tip!

Great list! Those flops look super comfy. We wear them year-round in my neck of the woods, so that would justify the price, right?

I would like to try some Hanna's for my kiddos, but I've been put off by the price. I'll have to check out Ebay.

We love our Maclaren double stroller - couldn't live without it at Disney every year. It's awfully handy at the water park each summer too!

I best not try on the flip-flops, or I might become a brand-name snob too :)
