I've been trying to convince Mara lately to play baseball this Fall.
Me: Mara, do you want to play baseball in a few weeks?
Mara: No, baseball's for boys.
Me: Baseball's not for boys. Mommy used to play baseball.
Mara: Oh....well, I don't know anyone on my team.
Me: That's ok, you'll get to make some new friends.
Mara: But I don't think I'm good at baseball.
Me: You don't know you're good at it or not until you try.
Mara: I don't know....I don't think I want to play.
Me: Ok, but don't forget that if you play you'll get a new shirt, pants, hat, and a baseball glove.
Mara: Really? A new outfit?
Me: Yep.
Mara: Momma, I think I want to play baseball!
I think fashion is her love language!

That is too funny!!
We teased about baseball here because it was "free" through parks and rec. Of course, after I purchased the new outfit I think I was in to the tune of $85.
ADORABLE!! Mara is a girl after my own heart...for sure!!
we just got Jordan the cutest PINK bat, ball and glove. NOW she is into the sport...but it totally took the PINK stuff to get her into it!
i understand...pink makes everything better!
