Check out these ADORABLE baby booties! If you can look at these and not say "Awww", then your awwwwer is broken! They were a really quick knit and the pattern is free. They're made with left over sock yarn.
When I was knitting them, the following conversation took place.
Emily: Wha' cha makin', Mama?
Me: Some baby booties.
Emily: (with HUGE eyes) .....are they real booties, Mama?
Me: Yes.....(realizing why her eyes were so big...we call our back-ends booties...so she thought I was making some baby back-ends!) Ummmm, no....they're baby slippers!

CARRIE!!! oh my goodness these made me cry!! i am not kidding. i do not know how to knit and i need some. i NEED some. in pink AND blue. i need them now. i cannot stop going on and on about them, they are the most precious thing i have EVER seen. seriously i have stupid tears streaming down my face.
ADORABLE!!
OH and the conversation with Emily is priceless!!
Some might argue that i don't have an 'awwwww-er'. Now I have proof!
All I can say is awwwww! Maybe one day I'll be able to knit well enough to try something like that. :)
I just love these booties! The sweetest little project! My daughter would have big eyes too - but she would be thinking, hmmm, how would those look on Baby Alive??:)
If only my sweet baby girl could fit into those!! I don't think her feet were ever that tiny, though. Very precious, indeed!
Bootyfull indeed:D
