Happy Birthday My Monkey

Emily Elizabeth,
Three years ago, you came into our lives...
...screaming...
...your... ...head off!

Those first six months, I thought you'd never stop screaming. You must have slept some though cause there is photographic evidence. This is mostly how I remember you those first several months though. Even all scrunched up that face was too cute.
You did eventually smile too.
And oh, those fat rolls....I miss them so much! You and your big sister have always been inseparable. Oh the trouble you two can make!
And your little sister mimics everything you do. She already looks up to you so much.I love you so much Emily Elizabeth, even though we knock heads everyday. Guess you get that stubbornness honestly. And you never do anything half way. Everything you do, you do with all of your heart...including throwing some really good fits!My favorite thing about you is your huge personality. Yes, you can still scream and throw some big fits, but that laugh is the best. It's easy to make you mad, but just as easy to make you bust out the belly laugh. You teach me so much about myself, both good and bad. I absolutely can not believe that you're already three but at the same time can hardly remember our family with out you.
I love you, little turd!
Love,
Mom

Carrie

Sweet, sweet post!

I cannot believe she is three either. It makes me sad that all the little people are getting so big.
