So after lots of research (really I just spent a few minutes on google) and thought, I've decided to apply Antique Mommy's potty training philosophy to Emily's pacifier. She calls it "Whatever Dude." Maybe I'll have to spend a couple thousand on braces in about ten years, but it'll save my sanity now. So Emily, you don't want to give up your paci yet?.....whatever dude!

Shiloh is going on 2 and 1/2 and still has a passy. I think we will probably have to have it surgically removed when we decide it is time for her to give it up. We made Lincoln give his up on his 3rd birthday. Both Mullin and Lincoln stopped taking naps when we took the passy away, so Shiloh can have it till she's 5 for all I care!!! (JK!) Another thing--she isn't interested going on the potty either, and usually I would be stressed over it, but like you just said, "Whatever Dude"
Amen! She will get to the point one day when she will no longer want it. Why should you all be stressed in the mean time?!
