...or rather is all about my attitude.
You know the saying, "If Momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy"?
Well, God has really been convicting me of my attitude the last couple of days. I've just been in a funk. You know those funks that don't really have a reason but are funks nonetheless? That's been me.
Now, there's nothing wrong with being in a funk every now and then, but the problem is that I've put Phillip and the girls in a funk as well. I really believe that old saying is true....I've not been happy and you better believe everyone else hasn't either. Whew, our house has been lots of fun lately!
We are all responsible for our own attitudes, but if you're a mom you're responsible for more than just your own attitude. You're responsible for the attitude of your entire household! Ok, no pressure!
Lord, forgive me for my bad attitude and funk. Please help me check my attitude with You every morning. I want a joyful heart and household as well. I want my attitude to reflect You. Help me be the best mommy and wife I can be! Thank you Jesus for second chances, and thank you for Starbucks, girlfriends, and Mandisa on the ipod!
