I think there's a Veggie Tales song about that.

Way to go, Miss California!

In my best Junior voice....
Stand up (stand up, stand up)
For what you belieeeeeeve in, belieeeeeve in, belieeeeeeve in, God!
(He's the one to back you up.)
Will stand with you. (He'll staaaand with you.)

Just like God sees us!

Aren't you glad that God doesn't judge us from the outside? Thank you Susan Boyle for making me cry (which isn't really hard now a days!) and reminding me to look past the outside appearances of others just like my God does!

Easter Weekend: In Pictures

Last weekend was so busy, I feel like we're just now recovering. With all the busyness came lots of fun though too....

We started the weekend at our church's spring carnival. The weather was not very cooperative with the wind and 40 some degrees but that did not stop the fun.
Here are the girls enjoying some cotton candy...
and hanging out with the Easter Bunny....
Heidi, I couldn't resist posting this one! Love you my friend!
Here are the girls finding their Easter baskets on Sunday morning...

Then it was off to church and over to Nana and Popa's afterwards.
Here are the girls at Nana and Popa's in their Easter dresses...(LOVE Mara Lin's face here!)
And now to hunt some eggs at Nana and Popa's...
"I found one!"

And finally....Rhen, this picture is for you. Here is my huge roundness at 29 weeks. Oops, I mean Samuel's huge roundness!

It's an Art Gallery

Welcome to the Three Girl Circus art gallery!
It was their idea, and they've taped every drawing, art project, and cutting project that they've done all week on this wall. This picture is all three of them sitting behind the desk where they're selling the art. So far I've paid two pennies, a dime, three M&Ms, and cup of yogurt....and have five fabulous pieces of art to call my own forever.

I love that the entire project was their idea and that they've spent A LOT of time (not arguing) working on it, but the mess is about to drive me crazy. I think the art gallery might be closing tomorrow because all of the art work mysteriously disappeared overnight!

A Three-Year-Old's Perspective on Heaven

Remember this post about Mara talking and thinking about salvation and heaven?

Well, now it's Emily's turn to get you thinking and laughing.

The other day while we were heading home, Emily pointed out her window and asked...

Emily: Is that out of town?
Me: Yep, that's the direction we go when we go out of town to see DeeDee and Grand.
Emily: No, I'm talking about out of town...you know where we go when we die.
Me: You mean heaven?
Emily: Yes, (pointing out the window) is that heaven?
Me: No, heaven is really far away, but we will get to go to heaven when we die.
Emily: I want to see what Jesus looks like.
Me: Me too Sissy, I can't wait to see what Jesus looks like.
Emily: Well, remind Daddy to bring his camera.
Me: (speechless)

I love how her little mind works... She knows what's the most important part of heaven and wants to be sure Daddy 'brings his camera' to capture that most important part!
